It was that time again..time for the annual 1998 State High School Hockey Tournament and Lets Play Hockey Expo. It was held on March 6th and 7th in St.Paul and here's a brief overview of the happenings.

Miska Designs once again took part as an active exhibitor at the annual Lets Play Hockey Expo held at the Three Rivers Auditorium formerly known as the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in the St.Paul Civic Center. It is another jammed packed even, which is held during the State High School Hockey Tournament.

This years expo was another success for Miska Designs as new and exciting things were abuzz at the Miska Designs display booth.

As you can see, the display at Miska Designs booth was larger than last year and was manned by Todd, Ken and Matt.

This year some painting was being done at the expo. Ken is seen working on a graphic dragons head

Since the news the hockey hub of North America regained an NHL franchise named the Minnesota Wild, the subject has been on everyone's mind, and what better person to prepare the official Minnesota Wild goalie mask, but Todd Miska. You can see that some great graphic work was happening to this helmet.

Our old friend J.B. of the KQRS 92.5 morning show stopped by to say "Yo Mammy", chat with fans and sign autographs and check out the new designs and goings on at one of the hottest attractions at the expo.

Even the youngest of fans couldn't help but want to try on one the original helmets worn by Ed "The Eagle" Belfour.

Miska Designs had on display 3 of the helmets worn by Ed Belfour, the Chicago Blackhawks, San Jose Sharks, and Dallas Stars designs.

The 2 day event was a huge success and all involved had a great time. You can be sure that Miska Designs will be back next year with all new surprises. Thanks to all that stopped by to say hello and chat.
